2.1 Youframe Digital Menu Board

Digital Signage is used to display information at various places. In early days, they were applied at public institutions and traffic equipment as a way to display ads or public announcements. Following the widespread of franchise business model, digital signage at retail shops also increased significantly. SoundGraph defines digital signage for retail shops as ‘Retail Media’.

The growth of retail media is especially strong in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry. At most QSR stores, a customer 1) orders from the menu board, 2) makes payment, and 3) claims their order.

Most menu boards used at QSR stores functions as a display for the menu, pricing, and promotion for new launches. However, typically a franchise has a large number of stores spread out across the country, which causes difficulties keeping all menus and pricing information consistent.  With analogue menu boards, or conventional digital menu boards that display the entire menu as one video file, changing display content can be quite complicated. Furthermore, you couldn’t manage different menu for each store from one central control system.

SoundGraph’s YouFrame menu board offers a wide range of functionalities as below, which makes it the digital signage of choice for many retail store owners. Currently we are servicing more than 10,000 displays at over 2,000 retail stores around the world.
