Design Concept

Hummin’ 3.03 introduces a new concept for home theater PC. Unlike the existing home theater PCs tailored to the size of home theater audio system, Hummin’ 3.03 provides higher compatibility and expandability using standard PC components with reduced size using mini-ITX form factor. Therefore, Hummin’ 3.03 is the practical product designed for future upgrades. In addition, Hummin’ 3.03 can be used as a stand-alone system with FingerVU 1016S (Wired Monitor)/1016W (Wireless Monitor) mounted on top or front of Hummin’ 3.03, with no necessary of turning on TV. Hummin’ 3.03 is a cubic shape favorable for heat sinking and ventilation as well as noise reduction, thus providing cozy environment in your living room.

Wireless Touch Monitor, FingerVU 1016W

A conventional home theater PC has been equipped with a remote control to manipulate media, but additional keyboard and mouse are needed for file management or accessing the internet. Hummin’ 3.03 provides an application, Touch Frame, so that FingerVU 1016W can be used as a keyboard, a mouse or a remote control. Touch Frame also includes useful utilities such as application launcher, task manager and task terminator for easy operation of Hummin’ 3.03.

Various and Easy Management of Media

In case of the Hummin’ 3.03 barebone kit, a mainboard and a removable HDD bay are included. Media files can be transferred into Hummin’ 3.03 using the HDD bay. The card reader placed on the front of Hummin’ 3.03 plays the same role in transferring media files stored in a memory card. Those storage devices mounted in Hummin’ 3.03 can be managed using the media library management in HD Frame. Database can be created and managed separately for each media type and for each storage device. In other words, all the media file you have can be managed in Hummin’ 3.03.

Recommended System Components

Hummin’ 3.03 is made for ease of assembly. You can follow the instruction included in Hummin’ 3.03 Enclosure for the assembly or a barebone product having assembled components can be purchased. Only the standard components are used in Hummin’ 3.03 so that any problematic components can be replaced easily. HD Frame Optimized for Easy Playback of Media

HD Frame can be manipulated by touching the screen while the application is running on FingerVU Monitor, and can be manipulated with a remote control while running on TV screen. Various media you have (such as music, video, pictures, YouTube and internet radio) can be registered in Icon View. The registered media in Icon View can be easily played by touching the screen or by manipulating the remote control. A playlist can also be created with marking your frequently used media file as “Starred”. You can easily change the screen where the media is “now-playing” from FingerVU Monitor to TV, and vice versa.

Expandability with Various Accessories

Various accessories as well as the FingerVU Monitor can be added to the Hummin’ 3.03 system. Enjoy the enhanced home theater PC with the various accessories listed below.

1. ① FingerVU 1016W Wireless Monitor: FingerVU 1016W Wireless Monitor is a necessary component for setting up home theater PC with Hummin’ 3.03, having an internal battery in FingerVU 1016S Wired Monitor. It can be used as a wireless monitor after connecting FingerVU WUD Host Dongle to Hummin’ 3.03 and FingerVU USB Device Dongle on it. FingerVU 1016W Wireless Monitor can be used as a keyboard, a mouse or a remote control within 10 meters far distance.
2. ② FingerVU WUD Wireless USB Dongle Set: FingerVU WUD Wireless USB Dongle Set is a USB device connecting the wireless monitor to Hummin’ 3.03, consisting a host dongle for connection to Hummin’ 3.03 and a device dongle for connection to FingerVU 1016W Wireless Monitor.
3. ③ FingerVU 1016S Wired Monitor: FingerVU 1016S Wired Monitor needs to be mounted on Hummin’ 3.03 or on FingerVU 1016D Docking Station and can be used when such the wireless operation with FingerVU 1016W Wireless Monitor is not necessary.
4. ④ FingerVU 1016D Docking Station: FingerVU 1016D Docking Station can be used for charging 1016W Wireless Monitor or for connecting FingerVU 1016S/1016W Wired/Wireless Monitor to another PC which does not have Hummin’ 3.03 system.
5. ⑤ Removable HDD Bay: Removable HDD Bay is provided as an optional accessory. It can be used for transferring large media files and for storage of them.
6. ⑥ iMON Pad Remote Control: Various applications can be manipulated with iMON Pad Remote Control included in Hummin’ 3.03. Using the ‘Wise Receiver’ in Hummin’ 3.03, a general home appliance remote control can be registered in iMON Manager after learning its IR signals to Hummin’ 3.03.
7. ⑦ iMON Mini Remote Control: iMON Mini Remote Control, included in FingerVU 1016D Docking Station, integrates the necessary buttons for general operation. Like iMON Pad Remote Control, it can manipulate Hummin’ 3.03 and can control applications running on FingerVU 1016S/1016W (Wired/Wireless) Monitor mounted on FingerVU 1016D Docking Station.
