Hardware noise (high pitch noise)

Hi,

i am using a originae M10 with the VFD front panel and an Asus E45M1-I Deluxe mainboard. After installing the imon software i am getting a high frequency noise from the display immediately after switching on the computer.

The noise started after the imon software was installed. I located the problem to the USB connection, because after removing the intern usb connection the noise disapears. I already tried other usb ports without success.

Anyone with similar problems or a workaround?

Dear konzentrat,

First of all, please check all cable connections for VFD again and try to connect iMON HW to other USB ports including the externals. And if you have USB hub device, connect it as well.
This kind problem has never been repport from users yet. Please let me know the followings.
1. Doesn’t it happen with other USB device?
2. When you removed VFD USB cable, did you connect VFD power cable from Power extention?
