No media Center-Veris conflict

I set up an HTPc and have the Haaaapge 2250 dual TV tuner. It has a remte to work with Vista media Center. In setting upo media center, i cannot get Media Center to recognize the TV remote. I have trobleshooted it and the Veris remote is overpowering it. I have a great investment in this ssytem and it does not work.

How do you work this around with instructions to do so?

Though many features of Windows Media Center can be controlled and supported by iMON remote and IR receiver, iMON is not a exact MCE remote/receiver.

You could control basic navigation and playback in Windows Media Center with iMON.
And triple tap SMS character input in Search mode of Windows Media Center can be possible with iMON.

However, because iMON receiver does not support the IR blaster feature, your TV tuner card remote control could not be recognized by Windows Media Center through iMON receiver.
