Dear cork45,

iMEDIAN HD treats HDD as Internal Media or External Media according to the connection type.
Currently if HDD is connected via USB or 1394, iMEDIAN HD manages it as External Media.

For Internal Media, you should make Media Library after adding media folder to “Scan Folder” in Settings>Media Library>Internal Library>Scan Option>Music/Videos/Pictures Scan Folder or use “Media Explorer” after changing “Library View” option in Settings>Media Library>Internal Library>Library View.

And for External Media, you can make Media Library or use “Media Explorer” in External Media menu.

If you made Media Library in External Media menu, it may be also displayed in Music/Videos/Pictures according to “Display Method” option in Settings>Media Library>External Library.

Please check it again.

After 2 years I thought I`d give this sw another chance, and big improvements have been done, BUT.....why don`t you people at Soundgraph fix the Media Library so we can add new partitions with different libraries in a simpel way
Take a look at MediaPortal how they have done it.
It can be done the easy way, and for me, that have 3x500gb disks with multible partitions, this is a BIG drawback with your software.

I really like the way to change filters and so on, so "borrow" the open-source-code from MediaPortal for easy access to harddrives :)

I will continue to watch your improvements in the future, since I like how it looks and feel that playback for DL avi.files look better than playback in MediaPortal

I shure hope you will take my advice seriously.

Dear Ronny,

Thanks for your suggestion.
iMEDIAN HD supports Media Explorer and Media Library.
I think Media Explorer is similar with MediaPortal.
But iMEDIAN HD treats HDD as Internal Media or External Media according to the connection type.
We’ll consider that user navigate all drive in Music/Videos/Pictues’s Media Explorer

Is it likely that anybody might actually try to answer and resolve the initial question in this thread, thanks.
