Hello,
Would it be possible to make it so that the speaker icons actually show the number of channels from the sound track. For example, if I am watching something in 2.0 it should show L + R. But if I watch a 5.1 Dolby digital it should show all 5 channel icons. Right now it only shows the speaker config of windows.

Furthermore it doesn't even get the source right if S/PDIF is being used. I have Digital Audio (S/PDIF) (High Definition Audio Device) selected as the soundcard device with no analog speakers plugged into the motherboard at all (just using its optical TOSLINK connector) yet still the S/PDIF Icon in FrontView will not light up. I'm using the default Win 7 SP1 drivers for my hardware as they're the most reliable but unfortunately they do not contain any speaker setup info at all. Unfortunately the latest motherboard provided audio drivers have stability issues, especially when Dolby Digital is being used and since the manufacturer hasn't fixed these yet, I'm reliant on the Microsoft native drivers.
If Soundgraph could change iMON Manager to function in the way you mention and actually sense the sound, this would definitely be a step forward in terms of FrontView reflecting what is actually going on!
