MCE Remote with Silverstone LC16 IR Receiver

Can you please answer 2 questions?

1. Can the IR receiver receive IR signals from MCE compatible remotes?

2. What type of signals/IR protocols can this IR receiver receive eg. RC5/RC6 etc...

Dear kiwijunglist,

1. Can the IR receiver receive IR signals from MCE compatible remotes?
We have supplied the various iMON products to Silverstone.
If you want to buy new LC16-M, it may support MCE remote.
But because the old type of OEM VFD doesn’t support MCE remote, I think it would be better to contact with Silverstone check about it.

2. What type of signals/IR protocols can this IR receiver receive eg. RC5/RC6 etc...
iMON can detect MCE remote signal with RC6 protocol.
