As it was written many times in old forum, VFD has charset table to show russian letters, when movie was named in russian. By now I must use external hacks (like Simon plugin) to replace wrong symbols on russian. Can U add transcode table option or hardcoded symbols that all russian users can see correct symbols on VFD. I know that VFD have only Uppercase russian charset, but it enoght for me and others. Please at least make an option that i can reassign codes of russian chars to correct codes. For example
А - A (0x41)
а - A (0x41)
Б - Ђ (0x80)
б - Ђ (0x80)
if U cannot see my char i try to describe it
Char (for ex A) - New Char(for ex N) and hex code for it.
If u add this option in iMon manager it would be great and many users will be happy. Coz they asked it many times.

Dear ShIvADeSt,
I understood what you'd like to get. As you said, the character set in VFD control chip-set seems to have Russian characters.(I'm sorry but I don't know exactly which characters are Russian). We could make transcode in iMON Manager, if you could help us.
I'll post the message how you could help us soon.
Thanks and best regards,

How can i help You. Just tell and i'll try. May be u can make beta version which can read xml or ini file, in which I type transcodin rules for ex
<Original Letters>
<Letter1>0156</Letter1>
....
<Letter33>0186</Letter33>
</Original Letters>
<Transcodin Letters>
<Letter1>0256</Letter1>
....
<Letter33>0286</Letter33>
</Transcodin Letters>
All codes are for example. If U make beta version which can read this config or something like - i will make full transcodin table and U will include it in release.

Dear ShIvADeSt,
OK, it's good idea. We'll prepare the map table which maps the ANSI code/UNICODE and Windows character set. And for the Cyrillic character set, you please check it after we prepare. And we'll add this issue to our To Do List.
Thanks and best regards,

Please, do not forget cyrillic letters specific to ukrainian language! These are three last symbols in this table:

This table corresponds Unicode table to Imon VFD.
And I would like to post a larger (higher details distinction) picture of Imon VFD CG-RAM.

Dear all,
Thanks for your supports.
The table which KDI posted looks very clear to get the trans-code between Windows Cyrillic character set and VFD character set.
If we prepare the beta version which applied this table, I'll let you all know first.
Thanks,
slash.kim
