Hi
I downloaded iMedian HD on my PC about a month ago, after doing that & scaning my music, great all my albums had tracks in the right order (as appears on the cd sleave) After a couple of weeks somehow they changed into alphabetical order which is a pain in the a*** as I can't seem to change them back.
Can anyone shed light on how to change the settings, because I can't find them?:(

We need more information in order to sort out this problem.

Is there the auto update of iMON and iMEDIAN HD between two stages?
One month before you might run iMON/iMEDIAN HD version 7.61.0522 and now you might run version 7.62.0630. Is it right?

Is there any other settings you changed in iMEDIAN HD?

I'am still using version 7.4 because when I downloaded the latest version of iMon/iMedian (version.7.60.0521) & the update patch (version.7.61.0521) & rescaned all my music files, but everytime I play a track on iMedian the coloured curtain wallpaper disappears & the screen turns black with white direction arrows appears, then after a couple of seconds the white arrows disapear & the screen is completely black. The music plays but the visual graphic equalizer does not appear. Has this happening to anyone else or is it just my PC? I am running windows XP & uninstalled the last version (which worked fine), before installing this one.
So I went back to ver. 7.4 :(

Dear Paul Jackson,

It seems to be an media file format related issue. iMEDIAN thinks it is a video file when you try to play music file and it shows the black screen to render the video screen on it.
Could you let us know which kind of music file format (the extension of the file) you are using?

All my music files are 320kb compressed MP3 music. I removed all video files (mostly mpeg) from your program & still when I play audio tracks (MP3) the the music plays, but screen turns black. This only happens your latest version
(7.60.0521 + updates). iMEDIAN HD Versions 7.2 or 7.4 are ok.

I have found my audio track order problem: If I install iMEDIAN HD ver.7.4 all the tracks are in alphabetical order. If I install iMEDIAN HD ver.7.6 they are in track order, but I then unistall 7.6 & install 7.4 they stay in track order until I scan any more tracks, then they go back to alphabetical order which is a pain!:(

Dear Paul Jackson,

For the track order problem, from the version 7.60 iMEDIAN HD uses the track order in the ID3tag, while the previous version did not.

If we fix the bug related with the black screen in music playback view, you could use the latest version. The mp3 playback feature is very basic one and currently we could not find the same problem on our side until now. Could you send one mp3 file you have for find the problem on our side?

I have attached one of my mp3 music files as you requested. Nearly all my music files are compressed at the 320kbps. I hope it got to you, as the file manage attachment box in additional options does not give mp3 files as a valid file extension.

I think it will be easily solved with your file.

I tried with mp3 file you sent but back screen problem doesn’t happen in my system.
