View Full Version : More AOpen HT80 problems
Hi, Thanks for helping me in solving my HTPC problem a while ago. The system configuration went unchanged but the software configuration changed.
I have installed Windows 7 OS 32-bit and the latest iMon updates. The problem is when i am using Windows XP with older iMon, it shows RSS News on the FrontView but not now. All it said is: "Connecting to News Server.... Daily News Not Available." for the same RSS links I used in the past. My internet connection is a 3G+ connector via USB. Can you show me how to show news again? Thanks.
Sorry, I have been looking through the forum but cannot find the solution to the problem. Can anyone please help me to figure out what I can do?
The Daily News is still not available although its RSS link can be opened by the web browser like IE, Firefox in the same computer. Besides, I also have trouble updating iMedian HD. I have closed the Windows FireWall but nothing seems changed. Is it a network problem?

Dear s_c,
I’m sorry for my late reply.
First of all, please check if other network features work.
Does weather information work correctly in iMEDIAN HD or FrontView?
Did “Daily News” work with 3G+ connector and the previous version?
And please check you can open the following link in IE.
http://rss.news.yahoo.com/rss/topstories
It’s a default RSS Feed. You can check it in iMON Manager>Option>News.

Weather information is also not working in Frontview. My last iMedian ver is 7.2 downloaded from the web. I can see the News and Weather in that version. But then since I have upgraded Windows from XP to 7 64-bit, I cannot see them on Frontview or iMedian HD.
The link you've sent can be opened in IE or Firefox.
Thanks.

Dear s_c,
I’m sorry for my late reply.
iMON enumerates network adapter before determining it is online or offline.
Please update 3G+ connector driver to the latest version.
If the problem continues, let me know registry value “Net” in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON.
Regards,
Johnny Hur
Thanks johnny, I have updated to the lastest driver. But nothing happens.
whereas, the “Net” in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON is "0"
