Hi all,
I was very happy to see support for PowerDVD 9 in the latest version of iMon. I'm wondering, however, where I can get more details on how to use this feature etc? I have to ask since I can't get it working (yet :D).
By the way, my thanks to the Soundgraph guys. Your support in this forum and the speed you push out updates with new features is a real credit to you all! I just wish more companies had your level of commitment.
Thanks, Steve.

Dear Steve,
If you have been using the previous version, PowerDVD9 is not automatically added to Program Command of iMON.
Please try one of the following.
1. Click “Reset” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Remote Controller. But if you manually changed RC settings, you will lost it and have to assign again.
2. Click “Add Program” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Program Command and Click “Scan Installed Programs” button.

well, after updating to Win7 and the newst Imon Version I hoped this Problem would be solved, but it isn't:
Imon works with the menu of a BluRay, but after starting the Film no reaction to any command
Also I did the reset as described: After reset the PowerDVD9 Program was still there and I deleted it and did a Progamm scan again.
I tested it with Terminator 3 .

Dear der_bub,
We also tested Blu-Ray disc in Media Center and it worked with the remote.
Please let me know the followings.
1. Does it happen when using PowerDVD9.exe?
2. Then does it work with keyboard shortcut?
3. Does it happen when using PowerDVD9 menu in Media Center?
4. Then does it work with keyboard shortcut?

Hi Jonny,
thanks for your support!
To your questions:
1.Yes, I use only PowerDVD as "standalone" (not the MCE plugin)
(with PowerDVD 8 everything is fine)
2. No, keyboard does also not react... oh,oh ...
3.&4. Don't know, I use MediaPortal :D

Dear der_bub,
We checked Bluray disc playback with PowerDVD9 (standalone) and Media Center and it works fine with both applications.
If PowerDVD9 doesn’t work even with real keyboard, I think PowerDVD9 may have some problem. Please check the version of PowerDVD9.
And try to change keyboard shortcut for PowerDVD9 to multimedia key in iMON Mamager>Settings>Program Command.

We checked Bluray disc playback with PowerDVD9 (standalone) and Media Center and it works fine with both applications.
With some BR it works fine, for example "Inkheart" all commands (Remote & keyboard) are accepted, but with most it doesn't (Terminator 3)!
If PowerDVD9 doesn’t work even with real keyboard, I think PowerDVD9 may have some problem. Please check the version of PowerDVD9.
And try to change keyboard shortcut for PowerDVD9 to multimedia key in iMON Mamager>Settings>Program Command.
The Version is up to date Build 2029.
The multimedia keys do work!!! :D Thanks allot!!!
Only thing I can't do with this workaround, is to go back/display the BR Menu... :( Maybe one time a Update of Imon or PDVD will solve this...
Thank you very much for the support! Now I do think a little better of your Product! Keep on going!

Dear BERND,
If this problem happens with the specified title, I think it’s a PowerDVD9’s problem.
When playing this title, PowerDVD9 doesn't seem to react with keyboard shortcut correctly.
But we’ll also check this issue again.

I'll be honest, I do not have PDVD9. But the problem you describe sounds exactly like the problem that was introduced in the latest patches for PDVD8 i.e you need to untick "enable BD-J keyboard support". The problem occurs because most keys will not work with any titles using Java unless this box is unticked. On PDVD8 this option is on the Blu-ray tab in PDVD settings.

 These damned tiny little buttons & boxes all over!
Finaly it seem's due to this little checkbox, what made such Problems!
These little boxes and options do safeguard many jobs all over the delightful world of information technology (mine as well :p )!
Thank's allot!
