Once in a while, when I browse through my media collection in media center, it will continue scrolling as if I keep pressing the left or right arrow button eventhough i only press it once. I am using logitech remote emulating mce remote. Is this a problem with IMON or media center? Can it be fixed? I am using the latest IMON manager.

Nobody has this kind of problem? My firmware is x038 using the latest software.

I'm using Windows 7 MCE RC version (have the retail version and will install in the next few days) and I've noticed this sort of behaviour under MCE when I'm using the mouse (a real one, not the function on the remote) to control scrolling in the Guide so I think it may be Windows. Just to rule out the remote, why not try what I did and use a real mouse, seeing if this exhibits the same problem?

Dear gibot,

You said FW version is 0x38 but I think it may be 0x3801xx or 0x3802xx.
FW version 0x38 does not support MCE remote.

I think iMON doesn’t detect Key Up for arrow buttons correctly.
Please check as follows and let me know the result.
1. Close iMON and run Notepad.
2. Press any number button on the remote. Does it type number continuously?
3. Press Enter or Space button on the remote. Does it type Enter or Space continuously?
4. Press arrow button on the remote. Does it move continuously?
5. Run iMON and Press volume button on the remote. Does it increase/decrease volume continuously?

I am having a similar issue. I am running with FW version 0x4302 and using MCE mode (with a Harmony remote)

I have narrowed it down to the following

In notepad with iMON closed..

Number keys continually send characters
Enter key continually sends characters
The arrow keys work appropriatly

I apologize if I am hijacking this thread. I can start a new one if needed but this appears to be a similar problem so I thought I would post it here.

Thanks
Tim

My firmware version 0x380208.Same version and test results as my setup so trying controlling of MCE using an ordinary mouse would be one way to rule out any Soundgraph hardware/software as the cause for certain. I'm getting this problem with the RC version of Win 7 x86 using my mouse but I have my fingers crossed that the Home Premier version I've just bought and have yet to install, has the problem resolved.
