Hi All,

I've just been setting up my media centre ( Silverstone lc16 case with imon) and using WindowsMediaCentre.

The trouble I am having is that having set my case power button to sleep the pc, the remote power doesn't send it to sleep.

I've reassigned the remotepower button to Off and it works so the signal appears to be getting through. The lcd display shows that the signal is being recieved but it doesn't sleep unless I press the front case power button.

When I power up using my harmony 1 (or supplied remote) the pc awakens from sleep so I don't think there is a cable problem. I've also changed my BIOS settings for sleep 3 mode.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be.

Thnaks

No not yet. Vista Ultimate 64 at the moment but may upgrade.

Anyone know whether its the same connector that sleeps and wakes up? IF so, then its not the cable.

Dear El-d,

Please check power management functions in iMON Manager and let me know the result.

If you assign “Power” button on the remote to “Power Button (PC Case)” function in
iMON Manager>Settings>Windows Command>Power Management Command tab, “Power” button on the remote does the same action with power button on PC case.
And other power functions use the SW method with Windows API.

And can you power on your system with remote?
