Hi everyone. I hope you can help me with my problems with the Silverstone CW002 with Soungraph LCD-display.

1. The remote control is no longer working. It used to work. I have'nt used the remote in a while, so I don't know when it stopped working. I tried to install latest software iMon v7.60.0521, but that did'nt help.
Any suggestions to why it's not working?

2. How do I get the symbols in the display to work? I mean the "MP3", "DivX", "MPG", "Webcast" and so on.. These have never worked.

(I have firmware version: 0C380102 LCD HID OEM)

When remote control is not working suddenly, the first check point is a battery.
Even though the red LED on the remote is flickering when pushing buttons, you might need to replace the batteries into new one.

The icons like mp3, DivX, MPG, Webcast, and so on around the dot-matrix area of LCD are lighten when iMEDIAN HD is running. If you listen mp3 music in iMEDIAN HD, [Music] and [mp3] icons will be turned on.

Thanks,

Dear erandre,

The remote control is suddenly stop working and batteries are fully charged. In order to sort out this problem, we need to more information.

Could you please check the following things;
- Firmware version number (You could find it in iMON Manager > Options > Version/Update page)
- Does the volume knob is working correctly or not
- Does thumb pad on the remote is working for mouse cursor movement?
- Do the numeric buttons (0 ~ 9) on the remote is working (typing 0 ~ 9) on Notepad.exe?

Thanks a lot,
slash.kim

Firmware number: 0x380102 LCD HID OEM
Volumeknob: Has a blue ring and seems to be working
Thumb pad: Not working
Notepad.exe: Numeric pads not working

Nothing is working. It worked fine when I buildt my computer. I have'nt used the iMon for a while, and now it's not working.

The remote control now have brand new non-rechargable batteries, red LED on remote is blinking when buttons are pushed. No reaction from iMon.

Function-knob and volume-knob on chassis seems to be working..

My system:
Chassis: Silverstone CW-002
Powersupply: 500W
Motherboard: EVGA nForce-780i SLI
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9550 2.83GHz
RAM: 4Gb
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 32bit
iMon Manager version: 7.62.0630 (Silverstone)

Dear erandre,

Only remote control does not work, while the function knob and and volume knob on chassis work correctly and LCD display works. It's strange.
Please check following three more points;
1) Firmware
Because the knobs action and display works, the firmware seems to be working correctly. However, please try AC power reset as following order;
- Shutdown PC and disconnect AC cable from PSU(Power Supplier Unit).
- Let PC be about 1 minute (until entirely discharged)
- Connect AC cable to PSU and boot PC up.

2) Software
In iMON Manager > Settings > Remote Controller page,
- Ensure the "iMON PAD" is selected as Remote Controller.
- And click [Reset] button to initialize IR settings.

3) Remote Control
If above 1) & 2) can not sort out the problem,
- Remove batteries from remote control.
- Let the remote control be 1 minute without batteries.
- Before insert the batteries again, clean the battery contact spring in the remote control.
- Check if there's something damage on the plastic window at top of the remote control.

Hope these sort out the problem..
Thanks and best regards,
slash.kim

After two days of testing and uninstalling and re-installing software, I finaly found the error. The remote control itself was damaged. After your tip on checking the remote control, I opened it up and the IR-diode fell out. So i soldered it to the cirquitboard and now it's working perfectly. Thank you for all your help and your quick replys :)

Dear erandre,

I'm happy to hear good news from you.
I could not think the damage of IR-diode. Thank you for letting me know one more possible reason of not working remote control. It will be very helpful to support other users having similar problem.

Please enjoy iMON remote again.
