I have this Antec HTPC Case:

A very good case. Still I want to make it even more quiet.
I'd like to replace the VFD display, with a Fan Controller. Like this one:
Scythe Kaze 5.25" Fan Controller

Will this fit, or do I need to get a 3.5" fan controller?
Now, in the Antec manual, it say's the BAY is 5.25, but I am not 100% sure something like a fan controller will fit. What do you think ?
Question number 2:
The remote control..
Can it be used to turn ON the computer, without the VFD Display?
If not, is it possible to modify the VFD display and take out the IR remote so to only is the IR signal for ON? :D
