Hi there, I have a weird bug that happens.
Let's say everything is working correctly right now.
It's a Moneual Moncaso 932 case with imon internally.

I have iMon set to "MCE Remote" and using a microsoft media center remote (several different ones).

Power off the pc, and several hours later, turn it back on, launch Windows Media Center and the remote doesn't work. Nothing works.
Also I can power off the pc, 10 minutes later, unplug the power cord completely, plug it back in, turn on pc, launch mce, ir doesn't work (mce remote).

BUT THEN, if I open up Imon Manager, go to the Settings/Remote Controller, and select a different remote (imon pad, imon mini), then dropping back down and selecting MCE Remote, clicked ok, and bam, the remote now works again.

Also note: Imon IS detected correctly (imon icon on taskbar system tray does NOT show yellow exclamation(. Also on these Moneual Moncaso cases, the buttons on the case (up/down/left/right) function correctly (controlled by imon)

This is reproducible with this PC every single time.
Any Ideas?

Dear nxt,

Right after running iMON Manager Software, iMON Manager restores which remote controller was selected and sends this information to iMON hardware. There looks something problem with sending this initial information to iMON hardware.

Could you please check the following one thing when you meet the same problem?
1) Please exit iMON Manager from the menu popped-up by right-clicking on iMON icon in the system tray.
2) 5 seconds later, please run iMON Manager by double-clicking iMON desktop icon.
3) Please check MCE remote works or not.

Scott// Please check this kind of problem occurs on our test system with the same iMON hardware and post the result here.

Thanks,
slash.kim

Ok, Here's the deal: iMon Software 7.60.0721 firmware 0x3416.
I turned off the system, unplugged the power, powered it back on launch media center, ir doesn't work.
I then exit imon from system tray like you said, waited a bit, then relaunched imon, relaunched media center, and nothing, ir still doesn't work.
(The unit has hard buttons on the case also, that works fine).

I then open up imon, go to the remote settings, select from the drop box to IMON PAD, then select MCE Remote again, then select OK and now it works. (Until I power off the unit).

Dear nxt,

Other user reported the same problem. (http://htpcinside.com/forums/showthread.php?t=148)

There maybe something bug to need to reset remote controller settings with iMON TouchLCD products. We'll add this issue to Our To Do List and fix it soon.

Thanks and best regards,
