I was using imedian vers. 6.01.0122 which has both analogue and digital capability and when setting up the channels it recognised both the digital tuner card which is Hauppage Nova-T 500 MCE Dual Digital PCI TV Tuner and the analogue one which is Hauppage WinTV PVR PC11 Capture. The programme worked okay.
I installed the newer version of imedian HD Version 7.61.0522 and in trying to set it up it will not show the digital tuner card, it keeps saying " use external viewer" so I cannot set up the tv channels.
I then uninstalled it and re installed the original 6.01.0122 version and now when I enter the settings it picks up the digital tuner card and the correct signal (Australia) but when I try the A/V Codec it shuts down before it gets to 25% of the checking process. I tried to skip this and go straight to channel check but it will not open.
I have windows media centre and it picks up the tuner cards but I think imedian is the better programme.
Any help in of the two problems would be most appreciated.

Dear debuch,

Because there was some problems with internal TV viewer of the version 6.01 of iMEDIAN, we removed the internal TV viewer feature from the version 7.0 until we could make stable internal TV viewer. The current version of iMEDIAN HD supports only the external TV viewer.

The problem with scanning the A/V codec for internal TV viewer in the version 6.01.0122 may occur because of something abnormal codec installed on your system, if you already set and used the internal TV feature without problem before installing the latest version. During scanning the A/V codec for internal TV viewer, iMEDIAN HD loads all codecs installed on the system and tries connecting them to the DTV tuner filters. Some codec installed on your system makes this termination problem during filter connection. Please uninstall filters unused from your system and try scanning again.

Thanks,
