imon help

I have been unable to get this system to work for me. I bought the cooler master case with the soundgraph hardware/software. The remote will turn the pc on/off but nothing else works. I am unable to launch any applications or view pictures, listen to music, etc....using the remote control.

Troubleshooting steps:
(1) Replaced batteries in remote control. The red led does light when a button pressed.
(1) Format hard drive and .re-install Windows XP
(2) Re-install Imon/Imedian - latest version
(3) I can right-click on the imon icon, choose "application launcher" and start an application.
(4) Under device manager I do see a "SG Remote Control Device" listed under USB.

I would appreciate any help someone could give me.

Dear tjeter,

In order to solve this problem, we need more information.
Please let us know the following issues.
1. FW version. You can check FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update.
2. If there is Volume Knob or front button for playback on PC case, does it work?
3. When you change battery, wait 2~3 minutes after removing battery and insert it again.
4. Check the current remote and press “Reset” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Remote Controller.

Do you have the latest drivers? Did you configure the remote?

To Johnny hur:
(1) Firmware Version: 0x93
(2) no volume control knob
(3) I have tried this, including waiting several minutes
(4) I have tried "reset" on previous verision but not the current version (7.64.0930)

To Mark Hardware:
What are the latest drivers and drivers for what (SG Remote Device, usb drivers, etc...)
What do you mean by "configure the remote"? Maybe I am mis-understanding something but IMON looks like it is already configured for some applications: IMEDIAN HD, Quicktime, Virutal Keyboard, Windows Media Player, Internet Explorer, etc.....I am assuming that these applications are already configured in IMON and ready to use. I cannot start any of these applications at all.
If I mis-understood and these applications still need to be configured then that may be my problem. I have made very little changes to the IMON/IMEDIAN system after it installed itself.

I have also tried creating a keyboard shortcut to a program, placing it on the desktop and then adding the keyboard shortcut to Imon manager under setting / custom command. If I try the shortcut from the keyboard it works just fine. If I try the remote it does not work at all.

Dear tjeter,

Check the remote selection in iMON Manager>Settings>Remote Controller and try as follows and let me know the result.
1. Click “Add” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Program Command.
2. Type any name and move to Button page.
3. Press “VOL+” button on the remote.
4. Check if button selection is changed to “VOL+””.

The remote is set to IMON PAD.
I tried your suggestion using "TEST" as the name and pressed "VOL+" button on the remote and nothing happened at all - no change.

The best way to solve this problem is to re-produce it in our test lab.
But it doesn’t happen in our test lab. Thus, we need your help.

If it is not bothering you, please send e-mail to johnny.hur@soundgraph.com.
Then I’ll send the test version that makes a log file.
