When I install the Imon software (7.60), I choose not to install IMedianHD. Hoewever, after updating to version 7.64, file for ImedianHD copied and it is copied to my c:\ directory instead of inside the soundgraph folder with a bunch of dll files, and exe. file. When I double click on the exe file, it said that it cannot find some dll file. Is the update does not recognize that there is no Imedian HD installed so that it does not have to update the file and not copying the file? Is there a way to prevent the update from copying file for Imedian HD into my c:\?

Can the software creator comment on this problem?

I have noticed that too.
I only use iMON Manager and wish to only update iMON Manager.
But after auto-update, I have a lot of iMedian files on the root c:/ too
I erase them all and no problem but it's still a little strange.
See you,

Dear All,
We checked this bug that if iMEDIAN HD is not installed, some files for iMEDIAN HD are copied to C root directory while auto update.
This bug is already added to our “To Do List” and we’ll fix it in next auto update patch.
And we’ll check again the issues related to this problem in next update on Oct. 22.

Thanks for your support Johnny!
Maybe you can help me too Johnny. I have 7.64 (or something) installed and got prompted to download the new 7.77.xx Version - which I did.
After I downloaded the version I de-installed 7.64 and installed the new files from the zip file. After the two requested restarts IMON was installed again but the same pop-up for 7.77 came up again.
I de-installed again, cleaned the registry, the IMON folder in "My documents" and even the one in Application Data/User Settings - and restarted and then installed again.
But it seems the problem keeps happening, every time I install I get the pop-up for the download of the 7.77 as newer version again and my auto-update fails anyhow.
I am a bit frustrated at this point and would like to receive help on this, hope you can sort this out, would be much appreciated, thank you

Dear Hody,
After install 7.77.1022, please check file version of “iMON.exe” and registry value and let me know.
You can check file version if you move mouse pointer over “iMON.exe” in C:\Program Files\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON.
And run “Regedit.exe” and check “Ver” and “Bld” valune in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON

I have just installed 7.77.1022 as I was getting the 'newer version....' message at startup. I have win 7 ultimate. I deinstalled version 7.64 before insatlling the new version and cleaned out the registry values for soundgraph which were in HKEY_CURRENTUSER\SOFTWARE\SOUNDGRAPH.
I then checked the imon.exe file version as asked by johnny.hur above - the value is 7.7.7.1022.
I cannot see the "ver" or "bid" value as mentioned above in the registry - as mentioned the registry values for Soundgraph are in HK_CURRENTUSER and NOT IN HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE at least in my set up.
One other point the desktop icon for iMON is a blue ringed white "dial" with 7.77 and not the "camera lens look" that it was with 7.64
I have not fully tested it yet but thought this info might help...

Dear Alan,
If you’re using Windows7 x64, please check HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\SOUNDGRAPH \iMON.
And let me know SW version in iMON Manager>Option>Version/Update.
