Dear nevusZ,

We’ve been testing iMON/iMEDIAN HD with Windows 7 32/64 Beta/RC/RTM in our test lab and will release the update on Oct. 23.

This problem doesn’t happen in our test lab.
Please try to change battery with new one.
When you change battery, wait 2~3 minutes after removing battery and insert it again.
And check the current remote and press “Reset” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Remote Controller.

I need to report that I'm having the same issue, too. Restored older drivers and disabled updates and now works like a charm.

But, there are other problems on Win7 X64. When graphic equalizer is running, cpu usage goes up to 30% which is silly, because I have core 2 quad @ 3.6ghz. When I close iMON tray app it falls down to 1-2%.

dear johnny.hur, thanks for your answer.
I don't think that batteries are bad, after switching back to the old version it worked immediately. Also i tried it with an logitech harmoy which has no batteries.
I look forward for your final release of imon for windows7 and hope it will work with my setup.
Is there anything i can do to help you? support data etc?

Dear nevusZ,

Did you try to click “Reset” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Remote Controller?

And please try as follows and let me know the result.
1. Close iMON.
2. Backup “C:\Users\LogonName\AppData\Roaming\SOUNDGRAPH\iMO N\Setup”.
3. Delete sub-folders of “C:\Users\.....\Setup”.
4. Run iMON again.

It's M-Audio firewire solo firewire interface. I already have latest version beacause I'm in their beta test program and I've got a feedback that that is not a their issue.

Hello,

I have got an Antec Fusion Remote Case with built in OEM Soundgraph VFD.
Since Version 7.63.0831 I cannot use my remote control, because some buttons are not working any more. Only the number buttons and the arrow buttons are working.
The Problem also occurs in the version 7.64.0930.
I have got Windows 7 RTM X64 running. Imon Firmware is 0x380208.
Is there any known issue in Windows 7 RTM with the version I am using? With the old version 7.60.0521 the remote control is fully working, but i miss the feature to start MCE directly to LIVE-TV with Live-TV button (or MOVIES).

I also tried MCE Remote Control and IMon PAD 200, none of them is working correctly.

Please help me. Thanks

i tried those steps, but no success. the error is the same. the remote is not working. neither the imon pad nor the mce remote.
The strange thing is that some keys are actually working - arrow keys + numbers. But no "Green Button" no "Live TV" no "Videos".
After switching back to version 7.60.0521 both remotes worked again.
This trouble startet with version 7.63.0831, all earlier versions worked.
So will no newer version will work?

I tested with the same FW with yours but it didn’t happen.
We released the update yesterday. Please check the problem with this version and let me know the result.

hello johnny hur,
today I got some time and I did a clean install of Win7 Home Premium X64 on an external hard drive. I just installed windows updates and system drivers.
After that i installed the brand new imon drivers 7.77.1022 -> THE REMOTE CONTROL IS FULLY WORKING!
So i believe you that you cannot get this problem in your lab. The question to me is what is wrong with my system on the internal hdd? I really don't want to reinstall because it would take me several days.
Is there any application that is known not to work together with imon? Is there any cleanup utility to get rid of old versions/drivers or is windows uninstall enough?

The best way to solve this problem is to re-produce it in our test lab.
But it doesn’t happen in our test lab. Thus, we need your help.
If it is not bothering you, please send e-mail to johnny.hur@soundgraph.com.
Then I’ll send the test version that makes a log file.
I’ll really appreciate your help.

And I think if you clean install iMON, it can be solved.
In order to clean install iMON, try as follows.
1. Remove iMON in Control Panel.
2. Delete “C:\Users\LogonName\AppData\Roaming\SOUNDGRAPH\iMO N” folder.
3. Delete “C:\Program Data\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON” folder.
4. Run “Regedit.exe”.
5. Delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON
6. Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON.
(This key exists under Wow6432Node in Windows 7 x64)

I've got the same problem. I tried it in a Windows Vista (32 bits) installation, and in a Windows 7 (64 bits) installation. In the two computers the remote doesn't work. With version 7.60 both computers work.

It's a Silverstone Grandia (GD-01) case with iMon integrated.

I also have a problem with the remote and other functions.

My system is an Antec Fusion Remote Black with the iMON VFD, FW version 0x380208. I have a brand new, clean install of Windows 7 64-bit (retail copy not RC or RTM). All of the motherboard and graphics drivers for the entire system are the very latest, downloaded before install and Win7/64 compatible. I have the latest 22 October release 7.77.1022 of the iMedian software. I have installed the operating system and all the software 3 separate times, but always the same problem.

The symptoms are: 1. Only a few buttoms on the remote work, mainly the mouse controls. Everything else, including the Go button is dead. 2. The volume control on the case does not work. 3. The VFD display only part works, I get system info and track info in media centre, but no graphic equaliser and so on.

All the hardware is checked and okay, batteries are fine. This must be a software problem, what is it please?

Yes, just done a clean install of V7.60.0521.

Results are better, the go button works, play, pause, fwd, back and Esc are all now funtioning in Media Player.

However, the mouse buttons now don't work. Volume + and - show on the VFD as if working but have no effect on output sound, same also for the volume knob on the Antec case. I've checked settings, it is defintely set to the correct audio device.

For volume problem, please open mixer and check which volume is change when you press volume up/down button, system sound or only iMON Manager volume.

Dear All,

We have tried to solve this problem (The remote only works with 7.60) and a user who has helped us to re-produce it said that the remote work with the test version. Please check this problem with the test version and let me know the result. You have to install 7.84.0202 Beta version before overwriting test version.
