Hi all,

I have an OrigenAE S10V and I'm looking at replacing the Philips VFD with the ODM / OEM LCD.
The OrigenAE has plenty enough room to mount the LCD but I'm more concerned about the visibility of the LCD through the tinted window at the front of this case.
Refer to the following screenshot:

I've currently mounted my iMon VFD in this case and whilst the solution works and is not that bad, the VFD is dwarfed by the large window.

Does anyone have any experience with this case? Will the LCD be a viable option or will it be too dark? The window is tinted, must it be completely transparent for the LCD to be visible?

I actually want a fairly dull display as I hate blinding lights (in fact I've disabled all the blue glowing lights on the OrigenAE!) but I does need to be visible!

Thoughts / opinions?

Kind regards,
Joshua

Dear jskirde,

First of all, please check the specification of ODM/OEM LCD, especially compare its dimension with that of Philips VFD (S10V)

I think that if Philips VFD is much larger than LCD it may not look good like ODM/OEM VFD. ODM/OEM LCD also needs case cover glass but you may use LCD Cover Filter.
