Chieftec Hi-Fi HM-01

Hi there!

i'm owning an Chieftec Hi-Fi HM-01 with a iMon VFD-Display.
Using SW-Version 7.6 the display works correctly with Media Portal.
But after I updated it to 7.9 it stopped working.

I read about the upcoming API for Media Portal and that not every display
will work with MP, but it's confusing that V7.6 worked and 7.9 did not.

Dear Caipi,

Currently iMON doesn’t support MediaPortal information.
If your VFD displayed MediaPortal information, you may have the old type of HW and install the additional SW for displaying MediaPortal information from MediaPortal homepage. Please try to re-install it.
And check VFD mode is set to “Plug-in Mode” in FrontView window. You can pop up FrontView window by running “App. Launcher” and selecting “FrontView” with the remote or right-click iMON tray icon and or clicking “iMON Utilities>FrontView”.

If we’ll release “iMON Display API” later, I think MediaPortal information also can be displayed on VFD. Please wait for a while.

No I did not use any additional SW. If I reinstall the old version of iMon (V7.6) it works again.

I tried to switch the FrontView Mode to "Plug-in Mode", but there's nothing like this in iMon V7.9.
The only modes are: Auto, G.EQ, System, Media, E-Mail, News and City
