Hello,
I have a SoundGraph VFD in my GreenPower HTPC case. I've installed the software using the original VFD controller for MCE CD (ver.3.81). Everything works alright after I start-up the HTPC. However, when I resume after the HTPC went into S3 sleep, the VFD remains off.
Only after I disconnect and re-connect the USB plug on the VFD, it will display information again.
I'm running Windows 7, 64 bit, on my HTPC. Under device manager I can see that the driver for "SG Remote Control Device (x64)" is version 6.0.1000.1.
I tried to upgrade the driver by installing newer iMon packages that I found in the forum and on the site. Installation works fine, but then I get a message that the installed hardware is not compatible with the software.
When I ran my HTPC on Windows XP I didn't have this problem.
Are there any tips and tricks for using my VFD and using S3 sleep under Windows 7?
Thanks
