moin moin from Hambrug

got a question:

i have two VFD's in Use
one is a Antec Veris (5.25") - and the second is a
Coolermaster VFD CMmedia

both working - but not as i want it -
one (the antec) showa me the time and the date when my PC is of
(thats the way i want it.

the second (from coolermaster) does not.
have the same driverversion (7.60) on both machines -
but when i open the imonManagaer in the coolermaster VFD machine
i dont have the option for choosing what is shown when system is off.
on my antec machine i can chose .... :-(

what is the reason for that ?
couse i wanna have that clock&date show when my HTPC is off.

coolermaster has firmware 0x80
antec firmware not known ( i am in my office(coolermaster) not @ home (antec).... )

what tool do i need for hardware-read or firmware-flash ?

regards

could it be that ALL VFD's are not flashable?

wow - thats worst case ... und nicht sehr weitsichtig ... :-(

really really really bad that there are so many
features depending on what firmware the VFD has ...
:-(
:-(

Dear polarie,

I’m sorry for the late reply.
Some product doesn’t support “Off-State Time Display” feature according to FW version. Because FW version 0x80 doesn’t support it, you can’t see this option in iMON Manager.
And regret to say, VFD product doesn’t have FW update feature.

i know that now - but at least i hope that it will work.

depending on which driver i use -
the display does show the time and date while PC is OFF ...
problem only is - that not all other features are given (MediaPortal)
when i use the "wrong" driver ...
so i think it is not a "real-driver-problem" :-)
