Hello,
I've got problems to install my old OEM-VFD (DIGN HV5) on Windows 7 64bit.
I install the Software including drivers first and after that I connect the hardware. But I get the "unknown device"-message. I also can't install the driver manually.
I had the same Problems on Win XP with newer Versions of Imon. I had to install first an old version. And after the hardware installation I was able to update to a newer version.

Please help me!

Sorry for my bad english :o

Dear DIGN HV5,

First of all, please connect iMON to other USB ports including the externals.
And if it doesn’t work, run “InsDrv.exe” in Program Files (x86)\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON\system\driver folder and install driver manually with driver files in driver\driver_x64 folder.

The Dign-VFD has only an internal connector. I've already tried out all internal connectors.

With "I can't install the driver manually" I meant i can't assign a driver in the "device manager" to the "unknown device". I try to "update the driver" ->driver_x64-folder-> Message: "no matching driver found" (translated from german :o ). I hope you understand what I mean....
The "InsDrv.exe" is in the drivers folder. Should i copy it into the x64-folder and run it there or just run it where it is?

I don't understand, why Windows has problems with the Dign-VFD, i have no problems at all with my "Imon inside" on same system.
If it helps, the Dign-VFD came with an Imon-MM remote (i don't know which Firmware the VFD has). http://www.camdenit.co.nz/images/review_imon_small.gif

Dear DIGN HV5,

You have the initial VFD product and it uses SGiMONx64 driver. Please try to install driver again with this file manually.
If the problem continues, try AC reset (Removing power cable from the wall and re-connect it). And I think it may come from HW problem (especially USB Controller) or USB driver. If possible, update main board BIOS and USB related driver.
You don’t need to copy "InsDrv.exe". If you run it, it will run another exe for 64 bit.

Ive got it working! my cabling was right. I took the whole front panel itself off of the front of the silverstone and it started working (literally....the sound dial went from yellow to blue as i removed the panel) so it would seem theres some dodgy cabling in there somewhere - hopefully this will help someone else....
