Hi,

I have an 15c2:0042 conected to a Zotac HD ID11. Everythink is working properly, but I'm not able to wakeup the zotac with my remote. I'm Using an xbmc live image (based on Ubuntu 9.10)

Here is how the receiver is seen :

[ 5.211919] lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, major 61
[ 5.223126] lirc_imon: Driver for SoundGraph iMON MultiMedia IR/Display, v0.6
[ 5.223210] lirc_dev: lirc_register_driver: sample_rate: 0
[ 5.223365] lirc_imon: Registered iMON driver (lirc minor: 0)
[ 5.223518] input: iMON PAD IR Mouse (15c2:0042) as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.1/usb3/3-2/3-2:1.0/input/input6
[ 5.227070] lirc_imon: iMON device (15c2:0042, intf0) on usb<3:3> initialized
[ 5.231095] lirc_imon: iMON device (15c2:0042, intf1) on usb<3:3> initialized

ACPI is correctly configured :

$ cat /proc/acpi/wakeup
Device S-state Status Sysfs node
[..]
USB0 S3 enabled pci:0000:00:1d.0
USB1 S3 enabled pci:0000:00:1d.1
USB2 S3 enabled pci:0000:00:1d.2
USB3 S3 enabled pci:0000:00:1d.3
EUSB S3 disabled pci:0000:00:1d.7

If EUSB is enabled, the box wakeup immediatly after suspend.

Furthermore it works with a USB keyboard connected to the same USB port. If I remove the receiver USB cable while in suspend mode, the box correctly wakeup. The problem doesn't seems to be from ACPI.

The receiver correctly receive signal even in suspend mode (receiver led is blinking when it receive datas).

I've configured lirc to see the imon as an mce receiver : http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?t=68722

I've try to wakeup the box with the orignal remote and with the MCE signal emulated by an harmony remote.

Even with the default configuration of udev (soundgraph view as an hid usb device) does not allow wakeup with the remote.

Any idea ?

Dear oliver,

In order to turn on the system with the remote, you should connect Stand by 5V to iMON HW. Please check it. And if there is an AC reset on FW, FW loses setting value for the current remote and you can turn on the system with Pad remote. (The default value is iMON Pad remote.)

iMON products officially support Windows XP, Vista and Widows 7 (x86/x64). Regret to say, currently we don’t have any plan for iMON products to support other OS. And we don’t recommend using iMON products in other OS.

I have a problem with identical description with the same remote and the same Zotac case, the biggest difference being I'm using Windows 7 which is on your supported OS list. This makes me doubt the issue is due to the OS olivier uses.

In order to turn on the system with the remote, you should connect Stand by 5V to iMON HW. Please check it.
The IR receiver Olivier was asking for help with is connected to USB. There's no way to connect it to the motherboard, am I correct?

Description for my problem is pretty much the same. My USBs are set not to power down on standby, and my wireless keyboard and mouse wake my computer correctly.

When I have my computer on standby, the IR receiver stays powered on as intended, and when I press buttons on the RM100 remote, the flashing light on the receiver indicates it's receiving signal. However, this does not wake my computer from sleep.

Whether I have configured my actual case power to sleep or shutdown the computer, the remote power button seems to always function as shutdown if I have configured it from the iMon driver to work as the case button.

Also, for the remote to wake the computer from sleep, is it required to:
- press the power button on remote
- have the power button configured as case button

Dear Sikakoira,

Power-On feature in iMON is not USB wake up. In order to use this feature, you should connect all cables correctly, especially from Power button on PC case to iMON HW and from iMON HW to main board power pin. When you press Power button on the remote, it works as Power button on PC case. And you also need supported HW. iMON Mini, Knob or Station doesn’t support it and “Power Button (PC Case)” function always works shutdown.

Thanks for your reply.

I meant the remote with USB receiver I bought for HTPC use and was going to hide the keyboard away "since I wouldn't need it when I only use XBMC". This product doesn't really do what I bought it for - should have apparently studied a bit more carefully what I was buying.

Bummer. :(
