Dear Soundgraph,

Last week I purchased an Antec Micro Fusion 350, which includes a iMON LCD screen. Unfortunately I seem to be unable to get the back-light of this screen to work, and fear it is defective.

I tried different versions of the iMON software (inluding the latest beta), made sure in all settings Front View was enabled, and tried running the iMON Test utility you suggested in other topics on this forum. Unfortunately, all to no avail.

The LCD itself displays all text and status information like it should, and the remote works perfectly. There is just no back-light.

Can you please tell me if there is any other specific tests I could do for testing the LCD back-light? Or should I send back the screen and case for RMA?

Kinds regards,

Eelco

Dear Eelco,

First of all, please try AC reset (Removing power cable from the wall and re-connect it). In normal case when there is a power reset, LCD back light turns on.

And try to check “LCD Back Light When iMON Closed” option is working.

Dear Johnny Hur,

Thank you for your reply. I already read on the forums about the two tests you mentioned, and tried them before sending this message. I now see I forgot to mention this in my original post.

Unfortunately they don't bring the back-light to live either.

Is there any other tests I can do?

Kind regards,

Eelco

Dear Eelco,

I’m sorry for your inconvenience.
If LCD back light didn’t turn on even after AC reset, it seems that LCD HW has some problem. Please contact with Antec and request the replacement.
