switching Display profiles with CCC

I have a zalman HT160 XT Plus case with the latest IMon version from the Zalman homepage with the Media center of Windows 7.

I want to use the Touchscreen, a bigger LCD screen and a beamer as display depending of what I want to do, means listening to music, watch movies on the LCD screen or the beamer. In order to switch the display I have programmed shortcuts in the Catalyst software of my grafic card which work good. Then I connected these shortcuts in IMON to buttons on the remote but that didn't work reliable. While the Computer is in Media center it works only occasionally. How do I get this to work stable?

And please let me know more about your problem. I can’t fully understand it.
1. You made shortcut for changing Catalyst setting and assigned the remote button with this shortcut. Is it right?
2. Does it work fine with keyboard, not with the remote?
3. Does it happen only when Media Center is running?
4. What happens when it doesn’t work properly?

thanks for your reply and your help. So:

I have the latest Zalman version of the software. Shall I really replace it with this update?

1) is understood correctly and works in general.

other points) keyboard and remote are more or lesss the same, but there are two different issues

a) somethimes ccc shows no profiles anymore, nothing works (independent of MC)

b) in Mediacenter (MC) the remote signal is received but nothin follows, until I close or
minimize the MC-windows, than a delayed action on the remote button follows

I was unpatient and proceeded with the upgrade as proposed and made a certain progress.

I programmed a "autostart" for the Catalyst CCC utility after hibernate status. Now the keaboard shortcuts of CCC work stable. I have connected these keyboard shortcuts (Left ctr/shift/1..3) with some remote buttons of the imon pad. When the respective remote button is pressed, it is correctly confirmed by the on-screen message of imon as "Touchscreen" or "TV" as I programmed it in imon. Nevertheless, the screen changes only if I wait for a minute or so after pressing the last remote key for such a display change. I don't have to wait if I use the keyboard shortcuts of CCC so that I assume that there is a delay coming from imon.

Dear wolfmann,

Our retail version also works with Zalman OEM products. If Media Center sometimes lose input focus, please try to select Media Center as “Quick Launch” in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>Application Launcher.

And please let me know the followings.
1. Where did you assign function for display change, Custom Command or Macro command?
2. Does it always work after 1 minute or more?

ad 1) The function is implemented as custom command.
ad 2) It seems to work reliable after 10 - 15 sec.

in the meantime I tried to program the issue as a macro command (as your question indicated) with some delay inserted between the commands and it seems to work better now. There is still a unstability with the Cathalyst software after restart from hibernate state but apart of that it works now in an acceptable way.
