:(
After upgrade to 7.77.1022 (and after that 7.86.0414) the DVD playback started to run with little anoying 'micro' jumps...
I've changed the mpeg2 video codec to system default codec (because playing is smooth in windows media player and other software in the system) bu when I start the DVD playback, Imedian returns a error message:
Can't open File not found
Then I can't see the video but I can listen the sound.
There's any tip to solve this?
Thanks in advance

i got the same problem with the microjumps.
For me it happens when playing a dvd from its menu-file, both if its from a real dvd or from a folder, and it doesnt happen if i just skip, or avoid, the menu-file and play the chapter directly as a file.

I also had the same problem with v. 7.85, fixed the uninstall, and install the previous v.7.77:confused:

Hi
I've tried to play the file directly and it works... THANKS.
But I can't choose the system default codec (I was trying to use it, to play the dvd in the standard way).... It keeps me saying file not found.
Where's the software searching it?
I need some directions here... using media player the DVD plays well, but when choosing system default codec, in Imedian, says 'file not found' and only plays sound...
Where is imedian searching for system codecs????
Hi,
i have the same problem on my freshly new installed Win 7 HTPC, the DVD playback gives micro-shocks, is not smoothly in imedian HD. (playing from DVD folder or disc)
In MS media player the DVD playback is smoothly.
I did not install other codecs or whatsoever, i did not change any settings from the standard.
Is there a solution for the problem yet?

Yes, its very irritating to have to change program to watch dvds.
You should put energy to solve this issue.
Playing dvd is one of the main options in imedian so its strange that you let be.
Kind Regards

I have the same problem and it's very annoying. I ended up buying a DVD player as my wife was a bit angry, after spending the money and time to setup the Media PC - we can't watch DVDs!
And it's been almost a year since the original post and NO SINGLE REPLY from SoundGraph!

it is annoying that their software can handle this crucial task for a mediacenters-oftware, and arrogant that they dont bother to fix it or even just reply, but it seems a bit overreacted to buy a new hardware for watching dvd´s when you just could have used another software.
kind regards!

Hi All,
Apparently, iMEDIAN HD isn't supported any more - it's replaced by HD Frame:

This explains everything!
