Remote contol volume and mute function stopped working

I noticed that the remote control volume and mute function have stopped working after the 7.63 update, before that it was working perfectly.

My setup :

I have my audio out (SPDIF) from the Asus Mobo M3N78-VM to my yamaha reciever. before this update I was able to control volume and mute from the imon remote and the yamaha reciever as well ..... any help will be greately appreciated.

Dear sbose04,

Please check “Soundcard Device” in iMON Manager>Option>System.
If you’re using Windows XP, select your soundcard device and “Wave Volume” in mixer line.
And if you’re using Windows Vista or Windows 7, select SDDIF.

SPDIF was already selected, the update kept the same settings. Any more theories ?

We didn’t change about volume control in 7.63.0831 update.
In order to solve this problem, we need more information.
Please let us know the following issues.
1. When pressing volume up/down and mute button, what is displayed in Indicator?
2. With speaker, does volume control work fine?
3. Do other remote buttons work well?
