VFD doesn't load sometimes on boot

HI

I have the imon vfd in an Antec case and I've noticed that sometimes the display does not load at all. This happens periodically and there doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. It's the same with Vista and Windows 7 so i dont believe it's the operating system and can only believe that the vfd does not power up.

This problem doesn’t happen in our test lab.
In order to figure out this problem, we need more information.
Please let me know the following issue and FW version.
You can check FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update.
1. If you disconnect and connect AC power cable, does it still happen?
2. When it happens, what is displayed on VFD?
3. When it happens, does the remote work?
4. If you close and run iMON again, does VFD start to work?
5. After it happens, if you restart your system, does VFD start to work?

I'm using latest version of vfd.

1. It occurs randomly. if i unplug it at the wall and plug it back in if still happens
2. The backlight comes on but nothing shows at all
3. The remote does work

Dear andyking,

I think when it fails to initialize LCD display, this problem happens.
In order to solve this problem, we have to test with the same HW.
Please let me know SW and FW version.
You can check SW and FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update.

After check, if there is a problem, we’ll add it to our “To Do List”.
Please check it later.
