Case Thermaltake DH102. The sound in AC3 format of the movies shown at normal volume. When listening to music receiver shows a PCM stream, but the sound is quieter by about 10 dB.

Dear sas_pav,

If volume level of PCM stream is very low comparing to that of AC3/DTS pass-through stream, you might need to check the 'Normalizer' option and the 'internal volume' value.

1. Normalizer
iMEDIAN HD Settings > Audio / Video > Audio > Normalizer
Please enable it, if it is disabled.

2. Internal Volume
iMEDIAN HD Settings > Audio / Video > Audio > Detail > Volume > Volume Control
Please set to use iMEDIAN HD Volume instead of System Volume.
And then, adjust the volume to 100 with remote control.
And then set to use System Volume again.

Thanks and best regards,

This solution also resolves volume problems on the analog speaker output (and probably HDMI output as well, though I did not test it). I my case, the same music played through WMP initially sounded considerably louder than when played with iMEDIAN HD.

I did not find it necessary to enable the Normalizer prior to setting the Internal Volume.
