Hello,

I have recently bought a thermaltake dh102 and I have 2 problems with imon and could use some help.

First, the background sometimes goes full "transparent" and I see the windows background while still having the various information's of imon still displayed correctly (as this user on the forum described http://www.soundgraph.com/forums/showthread.php?t=944&highlight=background )

Also, I have an issue with the remote which is very apparent when using the pad to control the mouse. Every 2-3 seconds the commands from the remote will just stop. I can never move the mouse from left to right of the screen in one shot, i need to depress-repress the button on the pad every 2-3 seconds or else the pointer will stop moving. (I also have some button presses that doesn't always register correctly and that I need to press again for it to work properly, probably related to the same issue).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I am using the current non-beta build (7.85.0222)
Cheers
SV

Dear SVoyager,

I’m sorry for your inconvenience and the late reply.

Please let me know when the transparent background problem happens and how often it happens. I think it will be much helpful to solve it. And we’ll also check again in our test lab. And about mouse problem, currently we keep trying to find SW solution for this problem. Please wait for a while.

Regards,

Hello Mr Hur, thanks for the reply.

About the background issue, while waiting for your reply I did several tests and so far i'm having troubble reproducing the problem (before my tests, it was happening daily but now its been running fine for 3-4 days). I turned off HyperThreading and that seems to have fixed the problem, not sure tho but thats the only major setting I changed.

As for the mouse issue, glad to know you are aware of it, i'll wait and see what ya'll can come up with. One thing tho is that I have doubts about the stability of my usb controller and I have ordered a pci one, I will see if that helps the issue (should arrive in a day or two).

I'll post back with results as soon as I have them.

Got the pci usb controller. Unfortunatly, that did not fix the problem.

Hello, any news about the mouse issue? Been a few months since the last post and there doesnt seem to be anything new.

I installed the latest non-beta release about a month ago i think (7.89.0622) and the issue persists on this version too.

The background issue never reappeared so that is fixed, just the mouse and some button press issues remain.

For the button press issue, I was trying to just remove the mapping and have my usb-uirt handle it instead, and while usb-uirt can do its work fine, there seems to be some buttons in imon that i just cant remove the mappings. So the last solution for me would be to tape the IR receiver and run evrything on usb-uirt, however the mouse control is better with imon (besides the jamming).

Any news on that issue?

Dear SVoyager,

Regret to say, we didn’t find SW solution for this problem. But currently we’re developing the HTPC version of the FingerUI and most of resource is focused on this. I think we may try again after this. If there is any progress on this issue later, I’ll let you know it via this forum. Pleas wait for a while.
