In Win XP Pro (current beta version of iMEDIAN HD), when I insert an Audio CD, it automatically runs Windows Media Player. When I insert an DVD film, it correctly runs iMEDIAN HD.
How can I change this behaviour?
If I go to "My Computer" and choose properties from my CD/DVD drive, at "Automatic run" tab (not sure the correct English tab name), I have many types of content for the disks:
- music files (can browse folder with Explorer, play with Nero Show Time, play with Windows Media Player - NO iMEDIAN OPTION)
- images (can browse folder with Explorer, can play slideshow with Windows internal program, play slideshow with Nero - NO iMEDIAN OPTION)
- video files (can browse folder with Explorer, play with Nero Show Time, play with Windows Media Player - NO iMEDIAN OPTION)
- mix content (can browser folder with Explorer)
- Music CD (no options appears, but it automatically runs WMP)
- DVD Movie (finally, here I have play with iMEDIAN HD, and also play with Windows Media Player, play with Nero Show Time and browse folder)
- high def DVD Movie (only browse with Explorer - NO iMEDIAN OPTION)
If I run iMEDIAN HD first, and then insert the Audio CD, iMEDIAN detects the CD (no Win Media Player autorun - great!), but it asks me if I want to play the CD or not. Of course it asks on my monitor/TV, and it is turned off, because nobody turns the TV on to hear an audio cd, and I don't answer OK, so no music :( (probably there is an option so it does not ask me anymore). A great feature would be if the question was displayed on my UltraBay FrontView, but it does not!
Bottomline: if I insert audio cd with no iMEDIAN running, plays with WMP. If I insert audio cd with iMEDIAN running, it asks me on my TV if I really want to hear it and don't play it automatically, and no info at the FrontView.
I can live with the question, but I would like iMEDIAN automatically run when audio cd is inserted.
