View Full Version : FingerUI doesn't recognize the monitor

Hey

The monitor itself works fine, but I can't get FingerUI to recognize the screen. It says (Empty) under the Enable section.

I had the monitor plugged in when I installed the software initially. Removing the software and reinstalling it without the monitor plugged in didn't help.

Using 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate.

Dear AndersG,

The 'Enable' section in the system tray menu is filled with the model name (FingerVU 436) after FingerUI runs successfully once. Because FingerUI did not run successfully once, the field may show 'Empty'. So, we need to sort out the reason why FingerUI does not run on FingerVU screen.

FingerUI can run after touch device is recognized. There maybe something abnormal situation with recognizing touch device.

Did you install "iMON/iMEDIAN HD" when installing FingerUI? If not, please install it first. And then, check the remote work or not. The one USB device is used for remote and touch. If the touch device has problem, the remote will not work either.

And please let us know the firmware version number at iMON Manager > Options > Version/Update page.

Thanks a lot,

After a complete re-install of the software (without having the screen plugged in), followed by an update, the FingerUI software started functioning.

Thanks,
AndersG
