Dramatic problem. Now only manual running of EnableDisableiMON.exe can help with USB problem.
I offer make new tab in iMON Manager settings with customizable list of processes. And if I run process and it's in list then iMON device will be disabled automatically without any user actions. On process exit - iMON device will be enabled. Of course if UAC will be off. It's working like videocard auto overclocking on 3D and downclocking on 2D.

PS. Check NEW Microsoft Zune Software 4.0 - Great GUI. Maybe you will find something new that it is possible to apply to iMedianHD/iMON manager.

We could understand what you suggest. Automatic disable/enable iMON hardware due to running state of added processes. We'll add this feature to our To Do List.

This is a really good idea. I hope this feature will be added in the next update.
This would make a lot of people happy with their purchase that got the buggy hardware.

This issue is already in the FAQ, I don't see what else you can add to the FAQ unless it's some kind of firmware update for the hardware or a solution that mitraleks suggested.
BTW, "EnableDisableiMON.exe" In Windows 7 64Bit stops working after some time, don't know why. It runs just fine but switches between "Enabled" and "Enabled", never goes to "Disabled".
So unplugging the internal USB cable or going to Device Manager and disabling the HID manually is the only solution now.

Dear swears,

Are you running Windows7? There's no problem with EnableDisableiMON.exe on Windows XP/Vista x86/Vista x64. Please let us know which edition of Windows OS you are running.

Thanks a lot,

When I try to use EnableDisableImon.exe with version 8.03.0525 of the iMon Manager, it Freezes. The box that says "Disabling iMon Device..." stays there for a while, then crashes. The feature that disables the device for certain programs doesn't fix the game controller issue. The software still flickers on and off.
