Hi,

I am using Imon with MediaPortal. My case is 3rsystem ht-5000. I am using Windows Vista.

After being idle for 5 minutes I use MP PowerScheduler to put the system to sleep.

When I wake up the HTPC everything runs fine, except Imon that refuses to work again. Usually I have to go to task manager an kill Imon manually.

I already tried SGresume (posted somewhere at the forum) and tried MPHandler to kill Imon before resume and start it again after wake up.

Imon completely freezes, no response whatsoever. The LCD shows a blank screen where I can see Imon panel.

I really appreciate some help since my HTPC is not working as it should due to Imon.

best regards

Hopefully this will be fixed when imon official supports mediaportal media info.

You might like to use IRSS in the meantime
Goto mediaportal forums and get IRSS non official version (from disaster) for imon
Basically you should have imon installed (for drivers) but not running (ie you have to use msconfig so it doesn't load on startup)
Rest of instructions are in mediaportal forum

kiwijunglist,

Thank you for your reply. I tried IRSS, but, unfortunately, it uses MiniDisplay to show information and does not work with my LCD. :(

I hope Soundgraph could give us a solution since I found several people with the same issue.

Kind regards

Dear All,

I also think this can be fixed when iMON supports Media Portal’s media info.
This issue is already added to our “To Do List”.
Please wait for a while.

I think your problem

This have nothing to do with MediaPortal.

iMON freezes AFTER Sleep or hibernation. Does not mind if Mediaportal is running or not. Read it again. Freezes even if Mediaportal is not running.

The worst thing is that even if I set any program to start iMON after wakeup, iMON runs (i can see it in task manager) but does not shows to the user.

I really need some guidance to fix this. I spend a lot of money buying a nice case to put in my living room and everytime, everyday I want to watch tv I need to attach a keyboard, killl IMON and start it again. No one in the house knows how to do that, that means, no one is able to watch tv if I am not at home.

Please I really need some guidance from Soundgraph to solve this.

Dear ssjunior,

I’m sorry for my misunderstanding.

If you're not using the latest version, please update to the latest version (7.63.0831). And check sleep/hibernation without running iMON and the related program.
Please let us know if the problem like screenshot happens and FW version.
You can check FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update.

Johnny Hur,

Thank you for your attention. I spent last week trying to solve this issue and after updating Nvidia drivers to last version iMon started to work after sleeping.

Again, thanks for your support.

Your welcome, but...

IRSS has nothing to do with minidisplay it is a seperate plugin. However i understand that if you are not running imon software then there will be nothing on your display.

With regards to the freezing of resume.
have you tried MCE MST Standby Tool
enable the usb bios hacks
that may fix your problems resuming from S3 sleep.
