After 2-3 hours, remote is acting erratic. Navigation button will no respond. "OK" button will exit to main Media Center strip. Navigation will work for 2-3 seconds then stop. "OK" button will not respond at all on main strip. Navigating with mouse works fine so there's something is off with the signal the VF310 is receiving. I tried a different remote, same results. If I reboot my system, will work fine for a couple of hours.

This just happened suddenly after a month of no issues and is not consistent. Sometimes the remote works fine (usually after a reboot).

It seemed to occur after a recent Windows update.

Dear adidino,

First of all, try to assign Media Center as “Quick Launch” in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>Application Launcher.

And in order to solve this problem, we need more information. Please let me know the followings.
1. When it happens, does it work with arrow key and enter key on the real keyboard.
2. When it happens, if you click Media Center with mouse, does it work with the remote?
3. What kind of remote are you using?

Regards,

Thanks for the reply. I nailed this issue down by replacing my IR dongle, keyboard and mouse. It would seem recent Microsoft update did did something with the keyboard drive which my kb didn't like.

I replaced with a logitech blutooth which led be to this other issue. You may be familiar with this one and may lead someone to a solution. Read below...
