My System:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Asus P5B Deluxe
4 GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia GeForce 7950
Antec Veris Basic
Harmony One Remote (Programmed as the RM 200)
Wireless Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard
Latest drivers with everything and latest version of iMON.
---
The Issue:
Intermittently, my computer will begin to act as though a key (or series of keys) is/are held down. This has been going on since before February of this year.
Today when I pushed the "backspace" button on the remote (to of course backspace some numbers I typed), the computer began to act as though the backspace button was held down. My hypothesis is that the full signal is not getting to the computer and iMON or Windows is not handling this well. I have a similar issue with using the remote to control the cursor. I can move the cursor around, but when I use the Harmony One remote to "click" it acts as though I have held down the click button until I move the cursor a little more then a lift off the left mouse button is registered.
I guess the question is, when using the actual RM 200 (which I don't actually own and am just using Logitech's database of codes for the RM 200), does the RM 200 send a separate command for when the left click button is lifted up?
The other question is if this is something that can be handled through the iMON software, or is this more of an issue that Windows would need to handle?

What I Tried To Fix It In The Past:
- Originally thought it was the keyboard, so I exchanged it (twice); and I experienced the issue with each of them. And now I have the wireless keyboard and mouse (which I have also experienced the issue with).
- Formatted and reinstalled Windows 7, twice.
- Updated drivers for everything.
- Updated iMON.
- Went without a keyboard at all and still had the issue.
- Scanned with multiple anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
- Disabling the Java update program on startup (this was a possible solution I had read about in some posts online).
