Dear support,

I am trying to install a Zotac ION ITX A-E WiFi in an Antec Fusion Remote Black. I found out the LCD and/or remote use a 3 pin connector which is connected using a 24 pin ATX adapter cable.

Now the funny thing is, the Zotac ION ITX has no 24 pin ATX connector, since it comes with his own external 90W adapter. There is not even a 24 pin connector on the motherboard.

So my question is, is it possible to install my Zotac ION ITX into a Antec Fusion Remote Black without using the 3 pin connector? I already emailed Zotac, but they (of cource) point the finger at the case.

Thanks in advance.

Dear customer,

Sorry for the late reply. As you might know, we support the standard mainboard and power supply. We have the Zotac mainboard and currently we do not have any solution to solve this issue.

Sorry for this inconvenience.

Hey guys,

I did the same. My ZOTAC Mainboard has its own power supply. Just connect the display to a 4-pin molex.

black (diplay) to black
purple (display) to red

if you want to use the display's IR, connect the red (display) one to the 5V of an USB port.

Hope this helps

Thanks Hobby.

This helped me get my Zotac Ion working as well with a Silverstone case.

If anyone is interested, I am happy to help them.

I have:
Silverstone ML02
with iMON LCD
with iPAD Remote Control

Running:
Minimyth booting from USB Flash connecting via ethernet to a mythtv backend.
HDMI out including audio

Hi Guys,

I also have the Zotac ION board and just struggling with the exact same issue.

If the LCD just needs 5-volt and ground to be connected in order to work, the Zotac board has an unused 2-pin chipset fan connector as well. Would it be possible to use this connector to power the LCD?

Also according to Hobby, the purple wire should be connected to the +5V and in order for the IR to work it should also be connected to another +5V connector, a USB pin for example. So this means that red is specifically to power IR and purple for LCD? I originally thought it's vice versa.

Not sure about the one with the LCD, but for the IMON Inside here is what I did:
