iMON/iMEDIAN HD To Do List (Previous Version)

Dear all,

We released iMON/iMEDIAN HD 7.89.0622 Official Version. Currently this version is updated through Auto Update Manager. And we'll upload new installation file for this version in "Customer Support > Download" till next week (Jul. 2). Please check the release information about this update at "SoundGraph Forums > Notice > Version Update > iMON/iMEDIAN HD Version History" page.

FingerVU products have been inquired by many of ODM/OEM partners and our users since launching the products this year. Especially the responses to FingerUI, the software for FingerVU, are highly enthusiasm because of its convenience and compatibility. At Computex, held in Taipei at the early of Jun. 2010, there were the professional, technical and official representatives from worldwide companies visited our booth and showed the high interests to the various use of FingerUI much more than USB monitor.

Currently, SoundGraph attempt to develop the HTPC version of the FingerUI, FingerHD (Tentative Name). We believe that FingerHD will overcome the problems that iMEDIAN HD exists. General users may feel unfamiliar and difficult at the beginning of using iMEDIAN HD and it needs several steps to go through the menu and list to play the media users want. But for the users who are familiar with iMEDIAN HD, it will provide options to choose to install iMEDIAN HD, FingerHD or both.

In order to shorten for developing FingerHD, all available personnel will be involved in this development. Because of this circumstance, iMON/iMEDIAN HD update will focus on bug fixes rather than adding new features and its schedule also can be affected depending on the situation of FingerHD development. Please understand this point. When the development for FingerHD is completed, we will release update in the same way with the current.

Once again appreciate your understanding about the temporarily changed update policy due to FingerHD development and please send your support to FingerHD.

We changed the release date of July version from July 30 to July 22, because our main developer has a summer vacation from July 22 to July 31.

- The release date of July version is adjusted.
- We took much time in July to make the API for displaying the media information of MedaiPortal. We sent the API and beta version of iMON Manager to Team MediaPortal.

Dear All,

We rearranged our "To Do List" with preapreing iMON/iMEDIAN HD 7.64.0930.
Some items are newly added. But some are postponed for the internal reason. We feel sorry for this delay.
And we'll try to update "To Do List" more frequently.

Next releases are scheduled on Oct.22 and Nov.23.
The major target for the update on Oct.22 is to support Windows 7.
And the major target for another is to replace FrontView Player for Touch LCD with iMEDIAN HD.
The schedule for other issues can be rearranged because lots of bug fixes and new features are scheduled.

And we have to postpone the release schedule for the update on Sep.30 to Oct.5 because we have to exchange DNS server from Sep.30 to Oct.1 and Oct.2 ~ Oct.4 is the national holiday in Korea. On Oct.5, 2009 auto update patch will be released (iMON/iMEDIAN HD Ver. 7.64.0930). Please wait for a while.

This update will be released in a installation version.
Some items are newly added and some are postponed for the internal reason.
For DVD ISO file support, we checked that it is difficult to guarantee stable playback after feasibility test.
We think this feature is not possible to implement under the current circumstance.
Many bug fixes and features are scheduled to Nov.23 target and this can be adjusted after iMON/iMEDIAN HD 7.70.1022 release.
