Ir receiver for imedian HD

I have two problems:

1. When i´m in the menu for imedian and uses the zalman remote control (i bought the zalman HD160 plus chassi) it´s so sensitive moving around that sometimes it jumps a couple of steps to far, if you understand what i mean.
Is there anything i can do or just learning to live whit it?

2. I also have a remote for microsoft media center whit a receiver, and i thought about using that receiver to extend the IR eye, i can see that it gets the signal but nothing happens, does it even go and use them together?

Dear egnesund,

In iMEDIAN HD, the thumb button generates 4 directional arrow keys down and up signal. In your case, The keyboard related properties values need to be adjusted. In iMON Manager > Settings > Speed page, please make the 'Keyboard repeat delay' to longer and the ' Repeat rate' lower selected and check the performance.

The MCE IR receiver could not use as a IR receiver for iMON remote.
Though the iMON IR receiver can receive and decode the IR signal from MCE remote, we'd like to recommend not using iMON remote and MCE remote at the same time. The simultaneous use of iMON remote and MCE remote can make any other problem.
