I am looking at purchasing the Chieftec HM-02B HTPC case, which features an iMON VFD unit with a volume & navigation knob on the front panel. After reading several reviews on the iMON VFD product itself (I have found no reviews relating directly to this particular computer case) I am not sure that I want to use the iMON Pad remote included with this product. I'd rather use either my curent MCE remote, or a universal remote - such as a Logitech Harmony One. I'm am trying to determine if this is something that would be achievable though, and have been unsuccessful in finding a direct answer.
Can I use either a MCE, or universal IR remote control with the built-in receiver on the iMON VFD installed in the Chieftec HM-02 HTPC case?
Unfortunately, I cannot find a specific model or part number on the Chieftec website detailing what version the iMON VFD is that they use. Any help, advice, assistance, or information would be greatly appreciated.
