Silverstone ML02MX with Soundgraph VFD Problem

Hi all,
I am using Windows 7 64 bit. The case is a silverstone ML02MX case, with soundgraph VFD. The software is the latest release from February. I did a deinstallation before installation. With reboot in between. As the remote I am using a Denon remote, which is programmed to work as a MCE remote. In imon I choosed the MCE remote.

The problem is, that the displays shows only the clock, and the backlight is too bright. It used to work perfect, as set in the settings of imon. To get over this problem I need to power down, and unplug the computer. Than restart again. It than works for some time, but all of a sudden, the problem comes again.

Any clues? Thank you very much in advance!

I need more information about this problem. Please let me know the followings.
1. How long it works properly after AC reset?
2. When it happens, does the remote work?
3. If you use iMON Pad remote, does it happen?
4. Are you using other remote in the same place?
5. FW Version. You can check FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update.

I need more information about this problem. Please let me know the followings.
1. How long it works properly after AC reset? differs, sometimes 2 days, sometimes 2 hours
2. When it happens, does the remote work? differs again, sometimes yes, sometimes no
3. If you use iMON Pad remote, does it happen? It used to be like that, updated and have not tried again.
4. Are you using other remote in the same place? What do you mean? If am using another remote for something else? --> No. I am not using any other remote in my place.
5. FW Version. You can check FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update: F/W: 0x98

First of all, please try to iMON HW to other USB ports including the externals.
1. LCD displays information before it happens and it suddenly changes to time and backlight. Is it right?
2. Does it always happen after pressing the remote button?

Have not tried this yet.

Well... no. The LCD display gets frozen. The display shows the name of the movie and gets stuck. This is also shown after a standby during which the LCD gets black. The icons for loudspeaker disappear for example. Nothing moves anymore.

2. Does it always happen after pressing the remote button?
No, not every time after pressing, but maybe it occurs only when I press the button, not without pressing a button (I don't know if I understand your questions exactly here)

What I also observed is, that sometimes the remote button is wrong interpreted by irmon. For example I press channel up. This is working most of the time correclty. But sometimes the media player is started.

Dear diehorsti,

If it only happens when pressing the remote button, please check if it still happens when using the remote within 1 meter and right direction to IR receiver. And if possible, try to use other remote (if you have other MCE remote or Pad remote).
