configuring and using ALL!! Keys of the iMON-Mini

Hi,

i am currently using the RM100 (iMON Mini) and want to reconfigure both buttons "back" and "Menue" - thats the buttons directly under the red and the green "power" buttons on the remote.

I can not reconfigure those two because they are "greyed out" in the iMON manger software (windows page) and thus not accessible to me. I am using the remote together with the multimedia software Media Portal and every button works excellent and can be mapped by the iMON manager, except those two buttons.

The software currently in use is "iMON/iMEDIAN HD Ver.7.60.0521 release (Setup)". The version delivered with the remote System was 7.30 something and did suffer the same troubles.

Dear abeule,

Some buttons on iMON remote are transferred to iMON Manager through HID compliant device driver and these buttons can be mapped to functions in Windows Command/Program Commands and etc, while the other buttons are transferred to Windows OS directly through HID Keyboard driver and these buttons can not be mapped.

The Back, Menu and Enter buttons are the buttons using HID Keyboard driver and so it is not possible to map to other functions.

For reference, we'll add the table which shows which buttons are using HID Keyboard driver / HID compliant driver to FAQ.

It is not related to the version of iMON/iMEDIAN HD Software.
