iMon Pad not working at all in XP

Hello.

The remote that came with my Thermaltake Bach worked allright at first. The HTPC hasn't been used for ~2 months, after which I decided to reinstall the OS.

So, now the iMon Pad doesn't work, though the VFD works fine. I tried reinstalling the iMon drivers (with registry cleanup), tried both the final 7.78 version, and the drivers that came with the case, but no use.

Is that a hardware or software problem? What should I do now?

Problem solved: seems like there was a bad contact in the battery container, so the problem was neither software nor hardware, but mechanical ;)
