Problem with Silverstone GD01mx

I just recently got the case and hooked everthing up and the lcd was totally lit up when i installed the cd that came with the case. After installation it would not display any of the imon software stuff so i went to this site and installed the oct 2009 latest edition. Well after it updated and installed drivers and firmware it only displays the bottom of the screen. I can tell stuff is scrolling but i cannot make it out cause the top half is blank. I am on windows 7 X64 ultimate and I wonder if i could try to reninstall the firmware if that might help cause the screen was totally lit up before i updated.

Someone else with the same case but a different problem that is similar to those with the antec and thermaltake cases with the overly bright lcd. With some digging I have come to the conclusion that it is not entirely soundgraphs fault but the case vendor. Here is a partial response from Silverstone on their GD01MX
Regarding your suggestion, we will not do any actions about change the GD01's LCD color for the moment.
Because we refer to many different products made by other competitions, and we want to produce a kind of more special type LCD than others.
Based on these reasons, we decided to use this color and type for LCD of GD01.

I know that when I got mine, I did not use the cd at all to install but dled the latest version here. Once suggestion would be to completely uninstall the software and try again. If you had it, before it should work.

Dear SMotheredhope,

First of all, please try AC reset (Remove AC power, wait 1~2 minutes and connect AC power again) and connect iMON to other USB ports including the externals.

If the problem continues, even though it may be bothering you, please take a picture of LCD and send it to me. I’ve never seen this kind of problem and want to check it. I’ll really appreciate your assistance.
