Hello everyone,

I'm using Imon Manager on a Thermaltake DH102 case with a 7" monitor built-in. I would like to be able to disable the built-in monitor inside the computer case to improve power saving on nights and sometimes also during watching a movie in very a dark room.

Problem is when I disable the built-in monitor (using UltraMon) Windows Vista moves Imon Touch LCD Frontview from the built-in monitor to the primary monitor (which is my TV). This means Imon Touch LCD Frontview now cover 1/3 of my TV-screen instead, which is very frustrating. I can surely exit Imon Manager completely (Rightclick on it's tray icon --> Exit) which also closes the Touch LCD Frontview. But then I wont be able to use the remote control as long as Imon Manager is closed.

So what I'm suggestion is two different keyboard shortcuts keys for enabling and disabling Imon Touch LCD Frontview. Is this something that the Soundgraph-team might consider, or is there any other solution for this problem?

Sincerely
Stefan

So what I'm suggestion is a function to minimize and maximize Imon Manager to its tray icon in Windows using keyboard shortcut keys.

Is this something that the Soundgraph-team might consider, or is there any other solution for this problem? What's wrong with selecting cancel at the bottom of iMon Manager? That makes iMon Mgr go away on my recent Antec LCD FrontView system.

I guess you mean right clicking on Imon Manager tray icon and then click "Exit"? As I wrote, this will close Imon Manager completely and then it will not be possible to start Imon Manager again using the remote control.

I want to be able to disable/hide Imon Touch LCD Frontview from the desktop, but keep Imon running in the background to receive commands from the remote control.

Hi Kiwi,

Sorry if I wasnt totaly clear on this matter. I don't mean the Imon Manager-configuration program, but the Touch LCD Frontview running on the VFD-display. I just found a setting in Imon Manager -> Imon Utilities ->FrontView where it is possible to enable or disable the Touch LCD Frontview. What I'm looking for is a way to do this using keyboard shortcut keys. :)

Sincerely
Stefan

That clears things up but as I don't have Touch Screen hardware, I can't try out options. How about dimming the screen with the contrast slider (assuming the Touchscreen has a dimming option like the LCD FrontView I have)? Sorry, it'll be up to other users with that Touchscreen display hardware or Soundgraph to help otherwise.

Dear Raj,

You can enable/disable FrontView in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Common.
And we’ll internally discuss about the function to enable/disable FrontView with the remote.
When we decide to implement this feature, we’ll add to the To Do List.
Please check it out later

Thanks johnny,

That would be be a great feature since I disable Frontview every time I watch a movie and enable it when watching TV. I know it can be done manually in Imon Manager settings, but thats very cumbersome compared to be able to use the remote.. :)

Sincerely,
Stefan

Dear Stephan,

We’ll add “FrontView Turn On/Off” function in Windows Command.
Then if you assign the remote button for this function, you could turn on/off FrontView with the remote.
This function will be applied to VFD, LCD and Touch LCD FrontView.

We’ll add it to our “To Do List”. I think it will be implemented in the end of October.
