I have setup my vista windows media center to go into standby mode when you hit the power button. This part works. Problem is coming out of standby mode. The system wakes up, the screen powers on but stays black. None of the remote control keys work. Only way to fully come out of standby mode is to nudge the mouse or hit a key on the keyboard then all work including the remote.
I know there was another thread regarding standby - but in that case at least after a couple of key presses the user could continue working. I'm stuck until I press a key/nudge a mouse (and I won't have that once I integrate my system into our entertainment center).
I'm using an ASUS M3A78-EM motherboard and a Fusion V2 (silver) case with a standard media player remote (came with my Hauppage 2250 tuner card).
Thanks,
Raj
