We purchased two FingerVU 706 touchscreens and we are trying to use them with a nettop computer that runs Windows XP. We have a program that is developed in JavaFX and when we attach the FingerVU to the USB port, we cannot use the touch feature of the screen with our Java application. I would appreciate it if you could contact us to let us know how we could solve this issue as time is an important factor for us. Otherwise, we would like to return the touchscreen modules and purchase other modules that support this functionality.

Best Regards

Dear gmpls,

Currently, we support the touch feature to FingerUI only. But we will update the desktop module in next update (maybe in two weeks) and you can use touch feature to any applications. Also we will provide a new feature you can assign some application shortcut to FingerUI in future update (maybe will be in a month).

One good news for you is if your application runs as .exe file (sorry I do not have some knowledge of JavaFX), you can use our API which will be opened on next April...then you can run your application with our independent touch control support.

I think that it would be better for you to check our update and API before you return our products.

Thanks and regards...
